  1. Recro Corporation

    Nov 2023 – Present

    Principal Solutions Architect

    • ▸ Lead a team of four engineers, providing mentorship and technical direction for Professional Services delivery.
    • ▸ Architected and drove Confluent Platform deployments and operations for a major Army cyber program across six sites, focused on high-availability and secure Kafka infrastructure that enables real-time SIEM/SOAR.
    • ▸ Designed a shared-services intelligence-community platform across IL4 and IL6+ in AWS GovCloud, serving four development teams.
    • ▸ Architected digital-twin Kubernetes environments to validate software deployments against STIG requirements for customer proofs of concept.
    • ▸ Replaced manual EC2 image configuration and scanning with CI/CD pipelines that provide continuous compliance for a USAF cyber defense unit.
    • ▸ Led installation of Kubernetes environments for the same USAF cyber defense unit using SpectroCloud Palette VerteX.

    • ▸ Designed and implemented secure multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters (Azure + vSphere) addressing complex air-gapped networking and security requirements.
    • ▸ Partnered with a strategic defense customer to migrate ten-plus legacy applications to containerized microservices.
    • ▸ Authored and delivered 15+ CKA and CKAD certification prep courses (held both certifications 2022–2025), plus CNCF landscape classes.

  3. Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp.

    Nov 2017 – May 2022

    Software Engineer

    • ▸ HALLMARK. Developed DevOps and platform engineering capabilities for a DARPA space-situational-awareness program, including an event-driven architecture ingesting thousands of satellite messages per second.
    • ▸ GC3. Built an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline covering linting, tests, source-code scanning, container builds, SAST, SBOM, and OpenShift deployment. Developed Python SDKs for RabbitMQ, S3, and a NASA space-communications API.
    • ▸ Rideshare. First Kubernetes deployment on in-orbit edge hardware at Ball. Built an MQTT-based job scheduling service and simulated limited-bandwidth container updates.
    • ▸ CASINO. Implemented OPIR sensor data processing pipelines using Azure Event Hubs and Redis; automated infrastructure with Terraform.
